The board wants to remind everyone that the Spring meeting is on April 15th starting at 7PM. We look forward to seeing you all! The meeting will start at 7:00PM, please try to come early to pay your 2016 dues via cash, check or credit card.
You will need to have submitted your hours via the website and received a receipt from me stating that your hours have been recorded.
If you need hours, please contact a board member, or watch your e-mail. We will be scheduling a “Last Chance Party for Hours” in the near future.
I received the following constitution change proposal today to be reviewed, discussed and voted upon regarding boundaries of the association.
Please accept the following as an Amendment Proposal to the CEBIA Boundaries, Article 11, Sec. A., Revised October,2004, OBJECTIVES OF THE ASSOCIATION: This proposal is to be logged into CEBIA Files, 30 days prior to the Spring Meeting, April 15, 2016, accordingly with the CEBIA Constitution Rules and Regulations and Policy’s and Procedures.
PROPOSAL TO READ:
Due to reasons of pure econonomics based upon the continual decline in paid CEBIA Memberships and due to originally restrictive boundaries set forth by our founders and former local government, it is my proposal to lift any and all boundary restrictions and to therefore open membership opportunities to the public, contingent upon membership qualifications and discretionary terms,set forth by the Current CEBIA Board of Directors assisted by a three person panel representing the Membership Selection Committee. These terms shall be immediately implemented based upon a Quorum Vote by the members in attendance at the April 15, 2016, Spring Meeting and subject to change with any subsequent amendment proposals in the future.
